Hugh P. Morris, President, is a licensed general contractor and is the Qualifier to the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Construction Industry Licensing Board for Marks/Morris Construction, Inc. He has been involved in construction since the completion of his higher education in 1978. He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1977. Hugh was admitted to Nova University Law School in 1977 but before completing his law degree he began refurbishing condominiums, apartments and single-family residences. In 1979 Marks/Morris Construction Inc. was formed.

As President, Hugh oversees the project construction and is involved from early development through project completion. He supervises estimates, project schedules and project cost control systems. He also participates in all operations, generating payment requisitions and securing prompt payment. Hugh is a main point-of-contact during construction and assures project completion to each owner’s satisfaction.

Hugh is married to Mary Cromartie Morris and they are blessed with 4 children and 10 grandchildren. His past-times include music and various activities with his family including water sports and hunting. He and his family are members at Rio Vista Community Church, where he is an officer.
